Tremulos responds:

Thanks man, glad you liked it.

awesome progression as usual, finish it xD

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Gonna have to if it's going on my album... So no worries there.

And glad you like it!

pretty sweet, not much for techno myself but the notes are pretty fuckin smart, good job

z-raven responds:

sweet review!

There is alotta creativity here in this track track, i just wish you would follow some of the do's and dont's of music a wee bit more. Sorry, I hate to give such a creative track a low score but 3.7/5 7.8/10, a lot of potential here and good luck, ur on the right path

pigmanlion responds:

hey thanks...yeah i guess it's kind of sloppy by today's standards... could yôu be a bit more specific though?

I like it, it does have a sort of late 70s/early 80s horror movie synth sound.

Wow this is the best thing i found on new grounds so far, extremely well put together, the guitar work is intelligent and inspires me to step up my game a bit, the vocals fit perfectly.
5 outta 5 beasts

You got alot of talent

I like it how the drums just go crazy in this track, the instruments all work well together and i'm hearing a lot of variation in the notes, and chords used.
I can't say I've heard the track that you say inspired this one in the description, but either way it's a very well composed peice.

I personally usually try to work with repetive samples, progressions, or structures and then rely on chops, and layered build ups to keep the listener but..
It sounds like a lot of thought went into this tracks production. and it's one of those tracks that kinda makes me feel like a scrub when I compare my work to it lol, but anyways...
I feel like I learned something just by listening to it, :) So thanks.
5/5 9.8/10

DonCarrera responds:

Hey, thanks a ton for the feedback!

Yeah, my problem due to mostly creating IDM and similar, highly-repetitive material is that my songs are never, ever repetitive enough to the the vast majority of listeners.

Building upon something gets boring fast to me - and there's no real cure but to endure what sounds incredibly boring to me and face the fact that it seems absolutely fresh and new to others. Its apparent in the vast majority of what I do that I just can't spend time to repeat notes or build upon progressions (the latter also partially due to having no musical education whatsoever) as I often become enthralled in glitching up drums and adding tiny little ticks and plinks to spice things up beyond the necessary. Derpstep.

Anyways, glad you liked it. To be honest: I feel incredibly puny when I compare what I do to, say, The Flashbulb or Telefon Tel Aviv too, but you just gotta keep pushing and - as I've already found out to an extent - become better over time. There's just no way around that 8^Y!

Still, your material DOES compare to what I do and additionally can resonate much better with most Newgrounders in terms of warmth and style. Most people don't like the "empty", uncolored feel of my musiks, but, like me, savor a crunk, well-produced beat that gets your foot tapping.

Uh.... long response is long - must of gotten carried away. Kthx/speech

9/10 5/5

Could be be better, but only barely, The track does what it's designed to do.

ChaosDragon004 responds:

Thanks alot, I'll continute to refine my skills in this genra so that in the future things will be where they should.

Alot of potential with this melody.

But I wanna hear it get heavy tho. try some some slightly distorted 808 kick and snare drums on that. needs some piano keys or somethin to that effect too.

lilmcj22 responds:

Thanks for the review . I quess I can always improve on it !
